Is it possible for me to get a passport ?

like i might go on a cruise that go to different ports and what not. My problem is my biological dad died last year of cancer. Then my mom got remarried will this be a problem or not ? Btw my mom and dad were divorce a long time. Anyway will there be any problem ?
