How often should you pump breastmilk to produce more?

Im not nursing her because she wont latch on, tried everything even the nipple shield and still its a no go. Been pumping but my milk supply is still really low, i maybe get one ounce out a day. I would like to start producing more milk so i can try nursing again, so anyone know a way to produce more???
